The spiritual needs of both residents and their families can be great at this time in a resident’s life. In keeping with our mission to provide exceptional health care, we offer a complete program of Pastoral Care. A full-time chaplain is available for personal counseling, collaborative prayer, bedside communion, the leading of memorial services and coordination of church services in the Care Center’s chapel. An intimate meditation chapel allows residents a quiet place when they prefer more privacy.
Quality of life, no matter how short it is, takes top priority at St. Mary’s Care Center. Our Palliative Care team is trained to help residents and their families face end-of-life challenges. In tandem with the resident’s physician, we focus on relieving suffering, enhancing relationships and in assisting in the preparation for death while respecting personal, cultural and religious beliefs. We take great pride in making this experience as meaningful as possible for your family.
