Wisconsin Forward Award:  St. Mary's Care Center is the FIRST skilled-care nursing home to earn the Wisconsin Forward Award at the highest level, Excellence. This 2008 recognition reflects the Care Center's leadership in quality practices among all Wisconsin businesses. Organizations that win their state quality award show superior performance and tremendous growth, according to a study cited at forwardaward.org. Employee Satisfaction:  Employees of St. Mary’s Care Center gave a 92 percent favorable response in 2006 for overall job satisfaction. This score led all other employers in the nation who turn to Chicago-based HR Solutions Inc. for employee satisfaction assessment. In the same time frame, the Care Center had the highest satisfaction rate within our network of 21 hospitals and three skilled-nursing facilities under parent company SSM Health Care.

Building: Shortly after the new facility on Maple Grove was finished, St. Mary's Care Center earned a "Projects of Distinction Award" from the Wisconsin chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, a recognition of the facility's quality and distinctiveness in construction.
